Serial platforms differ on what an episode is. The rows below are what writers report and platform guidelines show as of September 2026; rules change, so confirm with the platform before you post.

FAQ
Before you start
How many credits does a full episode cost?
One credit is roughly 100 generated words. Filling a 2,000-word episode entirely with AI is about 20 credits; mixing continuation with your own writing costs far less. Failed generations are refunded.
Will readers notice AI writing?
They can. Korean platforms have reported readers giving one-star ratings when AI-sounding prose showed up. Voice matching keeps continuations inside your sentence length, endings and dialogue ratio and filters obvious tells, but you still read and edit every line.
Can I submit to contests?
Depends on the contest. Several Korean contests (Munpia, for one) explicitly forbid generative AI. If the rules mention AI, the rules win, and sometimes the right answer is not to use SparkLore at all. See the section below.
Can I import an ongoing serial?
Yes. Paste text or upload DOCX or TXT and it splits into episodes. Characters and places found in the text are proposed as bible cards, and the style profile is built from your draft.
Does it post to my platform automatically?
No. We deliberately do not auto-publish. Export TXT and post it yourself, so nothing goes up by accident.

Plainly: if any of these apply, a different approach is better.
- Drafting with AI for a contest that forbids generative AI. Munpia's contest rules state that generative AI use is not permitted; entries can be disqualified. The rules win.
- Handing a whole episode to the AI and posting without reading it. Readers have punished visible AI prose.
- Expecting auto-posting or platform stats integration. There is none.
